Introduction

Beilianne Portfolio is a personal website highlighting the artistic journey and works of Beilianne Rivera. She designed the site in Figma with a clean, elegant layout, while I implemented it using Astro, Express, and MongoDB to build a performant and scalable portfolio platform.

Responsive Art Portfolio with Figma Design-to-Code.

This portfolio was created to professionally present Beilianne Rivera's wide range of artworks. Beilianne designed the entire website layout and user experience in Figma, focusing on minimalist aesthetics that let her art stand out. I developed the site using Astro for fast static site generation and Express with TypeScript for backend API handling, integrating MongoDB to manage artworks and project data efficiently. The final implementation includes interactive modals for image viewing, category-based navigation, and accessibility enhancements for broader audience reach.

What I Learned

The project successfully showcases Beilianne Rivera’s artistic works in an elegant, accessible, and easy-to-navigate platform. It highlights her professional presence with a polished, design-driven portfolio while demonstrating effective teamwork between designer and developer.
