Introduction
Developed 'Depths' as a game jam project with the theme of healing, focusing on 2D game development in Unreal Engine 5.



2D Game Development and Environmental Awareness
In 'Depths,' players assume the role of a shark striving to survive in an ocean contaminated by an oil spill. The gameplay involves eating fish to regain health while avoiding larger sharks, harmful garbage, and the gradually depleting effects of pollution. This project marked my first experience creating a 2D game in Unreal Engine, enhancing my skills in sprite management and blueprint scripting.

What I Learned
This project provided valuable experience in 2D game development using Unreal Engine 5 and highlighted the importance of environmental themes in game design.
